Mixed Martial Arts or MMA involves both stand-up and ground fighting so it employs both striking and grappling techniques from a variety of different martial arts styles such as boxing, submission fighting, catch wrestling, jiu-jitsu, judo, Thai boxing, karate as well as others.

TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts, that teaches more than physical fighting skills, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques.

Taekwondo has been developed not only as an effective method of self-defense without weaponry but also as a great method of exercise through a very full-filling sport. It gives you a chance to look at life from a different perspective. Tae meaning kick- Kwon meaning punch- Do meaning way of life; Taekwondo.

Our MMA classes include Muay Thai or Thai Boxing training that uses stand up striking along with various physical and mental discipline.

This discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs” as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Our classes involve the training and conditioning of each of these limbs.

KICKBOXING

Kickboxing is a descriptive term for martial arts that, while similar to boxing, use the feet just like the hands to hit. Kickboxing can be practiced for general health, or as the fighting sport.

Predominate class includes Kickboxing techniques for amateur as well as Pro Fighters. At a cardio kickboxing class, you can expect a full-body workout that engages every muscle group in your body, with a strong focus on your core. The rapid movements in cardio kickboxing also improve flexibility, balance, and coordination, and can help you build faster reflexes. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness or contact sport.

Judo Training

JUDO

Judo is primarily a throwing style of martial arts. Judo as Physical Training. It is a fundamental principle of sports to carry on exercises in proportion to bodily strength.

It is extremely practical in both a regulated fight (MMA match) and an unregulated fight (street fight/self-defense situation). Judo is an extremely effective grappling martial art, there are various throws and dozens of lock, choke and hold-down techniques.

A basic MMA fighter weighted circuit includes bent rows, upright rows, military press, good mornings, lunges, squats, and deadlifts. 

This type of training will effectively burn calories, pulling the excess weight off. The lean muscle mass developed through the training helps to maintain weight loss.
